If you want to license your project manager, there are several ways to do it.

First of all, click on the gearwheel in the upper right corner of the opened HPV to get to the settings.

There you will find the button "License" at the second last position.

You have the possibility to request a license, or to import one, if you have already received a suitable file from SmartHomeTools.

If you go to "Request", you have the option "PC binding" and "ETS5/6 dongle binding".

In the case of the "PC binding", the HPV is licensed on your computer. Thus the HPV can be used only on this computer.

As soon as you click on this field, a license code with the necessary data will be created. Please follow the instructions in the message window.

If you like to license the TecTool on your ETS dongle, please select the second option.

Follow the instructions on the screen. After completion a license will be created here, please send it to us.

In both cases you will receive a mail from us with the license file, which you can then import into the HPV using the "Import" button.

Now your HomeServer project is successfully licensed.
